Seeing the world, experiencing diverse cultures, meeting people and photographing the world’s incredible beauty has been our passion.  International travel and a love for diverse cultures grew into an import business of 14 years, Timbuktu Company in Arizona.
 

During this time we were asked to organize and escort groups to our favorite international destinations.  
We began taking small groups to Bali in 2001 and have continued to add our favorite countries to our list of our small group tours. Together, we take great pride in seeing to details of each tour and personally escorting each group.

Barbara has enjoyed international travel since she was young, when she frequently traveled through Mexico with her family. During university years she took an Italian freighter from New Orleans to Genoa and also studied Spanish and art in Mexico City.

She has taught and lived in San Diego, Europe, the Middle East, Mexico and the Pacific Islands.  Along with circumnavigating the world 5 times and extensive travels to more than 70 countries, Barbara holds a Master’s degree in International Management from American Graduate School of International Management, Bachelor in Fine Arts and a Masters in Education.

William has been traveling throughout the world for more than 25 years, and has lived in Central Asia, Southeast Asia and in the Pacific Islands.   He has organized and accompanied groups to Greece and Turkey, and arranged travel and logistics for professional group travel in Central Asia.  William has practiced law for more than 30 years in several states of the US and in the Pacific Islands.  He was formerly a Special Forces officer and a presiding judge in Washington State.
